Most employee engagement and leadership frameworks focus on process, metrics, and structure. But they are leaving out a powerful driver for employee performance, innovation, and personal ownership. When was the last time you asked yourself: "what do my actually people care about?"
Enter Courtney's Impact Rebel method - Passion. People. Power.

Engaging, inspiring and immediately actionable, Courtney’s keynote sends your audience out the door with:
Best for corporate, association, women in leadership, and employee engagement type audiences.

Your sustainability strategy doesn't fail because the plan is wrong; it fails when your people are never invited to own it. This workshop pairs The Impact Rebel Method with your existing sustainability strategy, so your team walks away with:
Available for half or full day session. Pairs well with the Impact Rebel keynote or can stand on its own.
This is a keynote about passion as a strategy. It's the thing that drives innovation and gives your people permission to take personal ownership of their work. Courtney draws proof points from her own path through sustainability leadership, corporate culture change, and shared-leadership models but the throughline stays the same: unowned passion is your biggest untapped resource, and igniting it is what unlocks innovation.

"Her topic is essential! I can’t think of anyone who wouldn’t benefit from Courtney’s message and style."
"If you’re looking for someone to guide you through the complexity of developing sustainability and impact strategies, don’t pass up the opportunity to work with Courtney."
"Her depth of knowledge and passion for sustainability are inspiring. She can distill complex concepts into understandable and relatable insights that leave audiences with actionable takeaways for immediate impact."
"Not only did her keynote stress the importance of this issue to me but inspired me. This inspired me to reach out to my companies Chief Impact Officer to see how I can become more involved and what I can do to make an impact in this space."
"Courtney’s expertise is so valuable and as a speaker she is top-notch, receiving some of our highest scores!"
This gave me a lot to think about as I keep my passions separately from work but this gave me tools to think about how I can integrate this. Very inspiring.

...an Impact Rebel with a cause and 11 years of proof that passion is a business strategy, not a soft concept.
It started with a dumpster.
Early in my career planning festivals, I stood next to a 40-yard dumpster overflowing with waste — 12,000 pounds of it! And I was devastated. But I wasn't hired to fix it. That wasn't "my job." So, I did what most of us do in these situations, I tucked it away and got back to work.
That moment sat with me for nine years before I finally acted on it. And when I did, it didn't just change how I worked, it changed how viewed personal ownership and it became the strategy I now teach.
Since then, I've built sustainability programs that transformed how companies operate, led an organization's first-ever initiative to fight child sex trafficking within the events industry, and turned a personal "someone should really fix this" moment into a career and leadership path built entirely on the belief that your people's passions are your most underused resource.
I'm not a C-suite executive. I never had a corner office or a big title. I'm someone who took her passion, built a strategy around it, and now teaches individuals at every level how to do the same.
This isn't a framework I read about. It's the one I lived, tested, and rebuilt three separate times inside real organizations before I ever put it in a keynote.
The adventurous, rebellious spirit in me found its cause. Now it's time to find yours.
